Microcurrent + LED: your go-to settings

Are you running LED before or after microcurrent for firming results? I’m seeing smoother texture on 50+ clients using 633/830 nm for about 8 minutes per zone, then around 200 µA microcurrent with longer holds along the jawline, but my reactive skin types need tweaks — what timing or intensities have given you results without triggering redness?

And flip the order on reactive clients: microcurrent first at 120–150 µA with 3–5s holds along the jaw, then 633 nm only for 3–4 min/zone; add 830 later if the skin stays calm. Your 8 min/zone + 200 µA works on resilient types, but I see less flush keeping LED under 4 min and capping current about 160 µA for the first 2–3 visits. > my reactive skin types need tweaks — what timing or intensities have given you (Try that sequence and see if the redness drops.).

Quick tweak that’s calmed my reactive 50+ clients: do a short “warm‑up” 633 nm first at a lower dose (about 2 min broad pass), then switch to 160–180 µA microcurrent with 1–2s moving lifts instead of long jaw holds, and finish with a brief 590 nm amber cool‑down to tame flush. @juliaG_54 is right to go easy on NIR — I’d skip 830 for the first 2–3 visits, then reintroduce it pulsed if they stay calm. Have you tried swapping in a panthenol/CICA gel for conductivity?
