When clients ask for ‘a little zap’

You know how clients sometimes come in asking for just ‘a little zap’ to fix everything? I had one the other day who thought a quick pulse would magically address years of sun damage. I had to break it to her gently that while laser is powerful, it’s not a genie in a bottle! Safety protocols mean we can’t rush the process, but it’s always amusing to see those expectations.

Totally get that! I once had a client think a single session could replace years of skincare. It’s eye-opening to explain it’s more about commitment than quick fixes.

It’s funny how some clients think a quick session will wipe everything away. I’ve found setting realistic timelines really helps manage those expectations — everyone’s skin journey is different! How do you usually approach that with your clients, @ethanb_981?
