When Your Facial Goes Wrong

Ever had one of those days where you thought you were giving your best facial treatment, only to have your client look like they just crawled out of a swamp? I had a client last week who reacted to a new serum I was trying, and let’s just say we needed a lot of cool compresses. What’s your funniest facial mishap?

I feel you! I once used a new exfoliant that left a client looking like they just rolled in mud. After a few minutes of panic, a good old hydrating mask turned everything around.

That sounds wild! Sometimes you just have to treat it like a bad hair day: throw on a cute headband, aka those hydrating masks, and hope for the best. @patrick_OB, what’s your go-to for post-mishap recovery?

I had a similar meltdown when I used that new serum you mentioned. My client looked like a tomato! It’s wild what our skin can do sometimes.
